Bug fixes

The File Open menu had the wrong icon when loading a new file. After the scaling update, the button indentations were lost. Possible exception in the track bar of the ECU value list window when importing the first scan.

Development

ELM327 <> This adapter is now compatible, tested with APOS BT OBD 327. Older versions may be also used with or without Bluetooth. Connecting with ELM the following commands are running: ATE0, ATL0, ATS0, ATH1, ATD0, 0100, ATDPN. To allow for special ELM settings, no initialization is performed. If you encounter problems, be sure to reset the ELM to default values first.

Console <> The command ‘port names’ is shorted to ‘ports’. The commands ‘port open’ and ‘port close’ are shorted to ‘open’ and ‘close’. In ECU mode it is now also possible to enter ASCII text. The command ‘query [SID] [PID] [OPT]’ runs therefore directly as HEX text in ECU mode. The ELM AT commands are only executed in text mode to avoid errors in ECU mode. The key repeats the last function in ECU and text mode with or without ELM. The text color in ECU mode is now copper, while in text mode it remains cyan.

Development

Due to monitors with higher DPI values and resolutions, Windows DPI-based scaling is now integrated. If the windows are displayed too large, scaling can also be turned off in the settings.

Console <> Extension in COM port menu with read timeout and optimized data reading. Extended formatting for the received data with ELM compatible adapter. Console text is cached when another file is loaded.
